Founder & Instructor

Wednesday loves crafting, painting, making music, and teaching. She is determined to create a space where everyone feels welcome and safe to express their creativity in whichever subject they're interested in. She is cultivating a relationship-based and community-focused culture by bringing on the best team members and crafting an awesome and ever-evolving space for The Arts.
She teaches private lessons for cello, violin, piano, and ukulele, as well as all kinds of Arts & Crafts!

Oliver Dewey

Guitar, Drums, Piano, Jam Bands, Theater

Oliver Dewey is a professional drummer, songwriter, and flat-pickin' bluegrass guitar player from Tucson, AZ. He studied drums under renowned Tucson drummer Erik Trulove for nearly a decade and shares his passion for creating students who can play with accuracy and impeccable feel. Whether its joining one of his Jam Bands, Theater Courses, or taking private lessons with him, you will have a great time AND learn a ton!

 

Matt Denney

Theater and Improv

Matt Denney is excited and honored to be an instructor of Theatre and Improv at Aparisi Arts. Recently relocated here to Tucson, he currently works at the University of Arizona as a Community Director, as well as a Teaching Artist for Educators on consent, boundaries, and autonomy over one's body. Matt received his BA in Theatre Education at the University of Nevada-Reno and his M.S.Ed at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Matt has worked professionally in productions both in Las Vegas and Wisconsin. He has also collaborated with East West Players: The Premiere Asian-American Theatre in Los Angeles and Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington DC. He has been involved in local productions at the Scoundrel and Scamp on their productions of Mary's Wedding and Ada and the Engine. Matt is also a previous High School Theatre Educator and remains passionate about providing accessible Theatre to students of all ages.
